3c. Engaging Students in Learning

Understanding our Emotions from the “Inside Out” was a unit implemented at the Paul Robeson Community School for the Arts after school program called Kinetic Connections. This unit was created for 2-3rd graders to understand their emotions by connecting to the Disney/Pixar movie “Inside Out” using SEL and Social Justice standards.


3d. Using Assessment in Instruction

This worksheet is a sample assessment from a lesson introducing Laban Movement Analysis dance element of Space where students would have to use the included resources to create a movement phrase then work with a partner to identify the space components they saw.


3e. Demonstrating Flexibility and Responsiveness

With many English Language Learners at my student teaching placement, I would create materials in multiple languages (English, Spanish, French) to accommodate all learners in my class.
